Negative Impacts on Our Environment Free Essays
These days, it appears that each move we make during our every day lives, here and there is influencing and hurting the earth. Our Earth is an excellent planet. The plan and cosmetics of the common world is an incredibly unimaginable. We will compose a custom exposition test on Negative Impacts on Our Environment or then again any comparable subject just for you Request Now The world was flawless at one point before we as people harmed and gradually are proceeding to demolish the our planet. Instances of Negative Effects For instance, composing this own one of a kind paper is a biological negative effect to our condition. Why? Since as I utilize the power and force expected to keep this PC running and working, the vitality and power is no doubt created from petroleum products, for example, coal, gaseous petrol or potentially oil. Other straightforward regular errands, for example, utilizing the can, heading to McDonalds for supper, recording network programs while Iââ¬â¢m away from home, riding my friendââ¬â¢s bike late at night, and in any event, tossing a bit of paper in the garbage can are on the whole instances of little exercises or day by day schedules that we do take an interest in for all intents and purposes each day of our lives, that consequently, inadvertently, is harming the world where we live in today. A fascinating contributing negative factor to the condition that I never thought about is the wellspring of the nourishments that we eat. As indicated by Roni Neff, Ph. D. , ââ¬Å"The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization appraises that 18% of world-caused GHGs (ozone depleting substances) originate from animals creation alone. The top sources are cow burping, deforestation for steers eating and developing soy for feed, methane from excrement, and the nitrogen manures used to deliver these yields. A significant issue is the counteraction of domesticated animals contracting infections thus numerous powerful compound items are splashed keep the creatures solid and adequately to forestall the loss of cash. Numerous ranchers depend much on these mechanical manures which tragically additionally require tremendous measures of petroleum products to create. This is each of the a piece of a progressing cycle as the synthetic substances left on these terrains in the long run winds up in spillover water which from that point is then poured onto our own special neighborhood water frameworks. While ranch makers just observe the positive side from the utilization of these concoction composts since it is financially advantageous to them, researchers and tree huggers can undoubtedly observe the negative impacts of these synthetic substances not exclusively to the earth yet to our own one of a kind wellbeing too. These remember the challenges for dealing with and appropriate removal of the huge amounts of creature squander, and the various general wellbeing dangers, for example, anti-infection opposition, respiratory contaminations, and gastrointestinal impacts, just as wellbeing dangers for laborers and network individuals. Another condition influencing factor that I thought was fascinating, was the matter of home development. Homes, yet the development of business organizations, shopping centers, and so on. Before development happens, the deforestation of common biological systems and territories of numerous creatures is pulverized. Numerous wellsprings of vitality, for example, coal which is one of the primary wellsprings of intensity for homes and a wide range of structures, are contaminating are condition to an ever increasing extent. These activities bring about CO2 contaminating the land and quality of our condition. So as our air and environment layers are getting progressively tainted with gases, the measure of strong waste in our landfills is expanding to a great extent. 25-30% of the whole U. S. ââ¬â¢ yearly strong waste is made up from home development and redesigning ventures and the destruction extends also. To have a superior comprehension of these insights, take the normal home comprising of 2,200 square feet and realize that for a home of that much space would require on normal in any event 13,000 board square feet of wood. Presently, picture laying all that wood down, its length would reach up to 2. 5miles. Recall that measurement and now see that by and large, consistently there are in any event 1. 2 million development homes manufactured. Presently increase each home by 2,200 square feet and recollect that every one of those homes utilizes 13,000 board square feet of timber, I. e. , the aggregate sum of wood used to manufacture every one of these homes loosens up in excess of 3 million miles! Thatââ¬â¢s enough dimensional wood to get you to the moon and back, nor twice, yet multiple times! These are extraordinary realities and clearly we have to discover new strategies for development, rebuilding, and destruction since it is causing and forcing negative impacts on our adored Earth. End Whether one is to see themselves as a traditionalist or a preservationist, a parity of both is the thing that ought to be thought about. Regular assets, I accept, for example, water and wood, are here with the goal that we may utilize them to our advantage however morally I donââ¬â¢t think it gives us the option to overwhelm and abuse our own indigenous habitat and environmental factors. With the high insight and trend setting innovation on the planet today, I would bolster a significant reason in the advancement and research of exhuming new plans to improving the environmentââ¬â¢s wellbeing while as yet profiting by our normal assets, I. e. , a commensalistic relationship. Attila, Flagellum Dei The Scourge of God essays
Attila, Flagellum Dei The Scourge of God articles In this article I might want to talk about the impact of the Huns, and their King, Attila, in addition to other brute people groups of the period on the Eastern and Western Roman Empires. I will likewise talk about the progressions that were realized by the contact between the Barbarian and Roman societies on the people groups of Europe in the fourth and fifth hundreds of years. This is too enormous a theme to talk about in a paper this way, yet by the case of Attila and the Huns, I would like to feature issues and changes of this period. From the plain of focal Hungary, the Huns controlled, through subject individuals and unions, the zone from the Urals to the Rhone in the fifth century. Just one of their rulers is known outside of Hungary, Attila, whose name is passed down to the cutting edge world as The Scourge of God. To the cutting edge world he is known as a savage dictator, however there is a direct record of his appearance, his imperial court and the way of life of his kin , which depicts him as a recognized ruler, just as, a forceful lord, which is complimentary if not appreciating. The inquiry must be posed, Why Attila and no other of the savage rulers of the time? It was Alaric of the Visigoths whose military caught Rome in AD 410, however it is Attila who is recollected in the cutting edge world as the sacker of urban communities. It was the Vandals who walked across Europe and in the end settled in North Africa. The Vandals made a line that was to keep going for ages. Not until the hour of the Emperor Justinian was North Africa came back to the Roman Empire, however the Huns are the people groups that are recalled today as the heros of the West. It is Attila and the Huns that have gone from history into folktale and legend as a definitive in Barbarians who eat kids and butcher entire countries, however they were no more terrible than different countries of the fifth century. Branding Example
Branding Example Branding â" Essay Example > Definition of branding The definition of branding can be summarized as, âa brand is a term, sign, symbol, design or a combination of these that is intended to identify the product or a seller and to differentiate it from those of competitorsâ (Okonkwo 2007, 9). Branding is the process of creating an identifiable entity of the total offerings of a company which make consistent and precise promises of value, thus providing the consumers with the best experience of using those offerings. An effective brand strategy provides a business with a significant edge amidst the increasingly competitive markets. Brand is a companyâs promise to its consumers. Brand suggests what expectations can the consumers assign to the products and/or services offered by the company. Brand makes the offering stand out from a range of similar offerings by the competitors. The brand is derived from what a company is, what is its mission and vision, and how it wants to be perceived by the consumers. A logo lays the foundation of a brand. The website, promotional materials, packaging, and ads of a company are all integrated in the companyâs logo, so a company is able to communicate to the consumers. The brand strategy is crafted by what about, when, where, how, and to whom a company wants to communicate and convey the messages. The choice and platform of advertisements, the visual and verbal elements of communication are all essential components of the brand strategy just like the distribution channels. A company can develop a strong brand equity by adopting consistently strategic branding. Brand equity means the added value assigned to the offerings of a company which provides the company with an opportunity to charge the consumers more for the brand compared to what unbranded identical product making companies are charging. Coke vs any soda is an obvious example of this; Coca-Cola can charge customers more for its drinks without having the customers turned away because Coke has a strong brand equity whereas a generic soda might not even get half as many customers even by charging them much lesser than Coke. The added value is built in the form of emotional attachment or perceived quality. For example, Nike keeps star athletes in its ads and promotional campaigns anticipating the transfer of the customersâ emotional attachment with those star athletes to Nikeâs products. This implies that it is more than just the features of Nike shoes which plays an important role in their selling out. Defining its brand for a company is more like a self-discovery business journey. Defining the brand can be time-consuming and complicated as it requires a company to clearly lay out its mission, the intended features of its products and/or services, the benefits they would generate for the consumers, the prospective or desired image of the company, and the consumersâ existing association with the company. Objectives of branding The objective of branding is to create wealth, customer loyalty, and most importantly influence in the market. The goal of branding is to encourage the consumers to purchase the offering repeatedly. Brands are robust symbolic entities with a lot of social impact which paves the way for increased loyalty on the part of the consumers. Brands are considered as communicators since they communicate the name, trademark, logo, type, communicating positioning, and contriving identity. Brands play the role of value enhancers as they are visualized to carry additional values which are linked with a company and the products and/or services it offers. Having a company branded means that the quality of its offerings is guaranteed to the consumers. Brands help build relationships between companies and the consumers. It is the objective of branding to get the offerings of a company differentiated from those of its competitors so that the product and/or service can be easily recognized by the consu mers. Another objective of branding is to launch activities of promotion. These activities may include but are not limited to personal selling, advertisement, sales promotion, and publicity. One of the primary objectives of branding is to maintain the durability and high quality of the offerings for which they are valued by the consumers. Using brand name loses all significance and weight if a company fails to maintain the quality of its offerings. Branding provides a firm with legal protection and helps the company overcome legal obstacles. Summing them up, the objectives of branding, on one hand, are directed at producing quality products and/or services, and on the other hand, they are directed at fostering the relationship between consumers and the company producing those products and/or services. The development of a brand The first and the foremost requirement of developing a brand is to have a logo that can be placed everywhere. Next comes the stage of crafting brand message. The company should write down the key messages that it wants to communicate through its brand. These brand attributes should be well known to each and every employee of the company so that all employees can display these attributes in their dealings with the customers. Branding is not limited to just one aspect of a business i. e. marketing or selling; rather branding is intrinsically related to all aspects of the business ranging from addressing the customersâ complaints, communicating with customers professionally, and doing the maximum possible to keep the customers happy and entertained. The company needs to create its own voice that would reflect its brand. This voice is incorporated in all materialsâ visual imagery and written communication. The company should constantly evaluate where the brand lies on the scale wit h friendliness on one extreme and formality on the other. Ideally, a brand should lie in the middle of such a scale so that customers are dealt with in a friendly as well as a professional manner by the companyâs staff. Writing a meaningful, concise, and memorable statement which contains a brandâs essence helps in the development of a tagline. The color scheme, look, feel, and logo placement should consistently be the same in all products and/or services, their marketing campaigns, and promotional platforms. How Gucci developed its brand Gucci is a famous brand for luxury accessories and fashion wear. Gucci puts in a lot of effort in its branding. Gucciâs 90th anniversary celebration was year-long and completed with the establishment of a whole âbranded museum in the Palazzo della Mercanzia located in Italian city Florenceâs Piazza Signoriaâ (Hutzler 2011). There are three separate floors in the Gucci Museo each of which is dedicated to the permanent branded exhibits that narrate the brandâs story to the visitors. There has been noticed an increase in the museum exhibits by top brands which shows that top brands feel the need to justify why they charge such high prices to the customers by telling them their history and brandâs story and worth. Branding expert Rob Frankel said, âAfter creating and building a brand, itâs critically important to nurture and sustain the value of the brand⦠This is where most brands fall down. They simply create it and hope it thrives, â¦But when a brand takes steps to show that it believes its own brand is worth cultivating, it makes a statement to the publicâ (Frankel cited in Hutzler 2011). There are three shops, one café, and several rooms for exhibition inside the Gucci Museo. With the café being located at the museumâs entrance, the tourists are enticed to meet the locals in a coffeehouse. Such meetings promote an understanding of the importance of a brand even to the ones who are very remotely aware of it. Gucci provides an example of a top brand that invests heavily in its branding, but the investment brings about far more profit in return. The Trial And Death Of Socrates By Plato, Antigone, And...
Justice in Classical Antiquity: A Synthesis of Individual Liberty with the Common Good Justice is a concept institutionalized by society, where individuals entrust their basic rights to be upheld by the state. Together, members share social responsibility, actively pursuing a sense of communal virtue. The fruition of their cooperation brings about conditions where it is easiest for individuals to freely improve the wealth of the public. Using the texts The Trial and Death of Socrates by Plato, Antigone by Sophocles, and Confessions by Saint Augustine, this essay will explore the complex relationship between the individual and society in Greco-Roman culture. It will argue from a classical standpoint that justice is defined as aligning the moral beliefs of individuals with what is in the best interest of the common good. Characters in the texts experience tension between whether their moral beliefs rest with the state or with their religious beliefs. Torn between the two channels for e thical reasoning, the characters are aware that they must choose allegiance with the one that best mirrors their vision of the ideal society. In The Trial and Death of Socrates, Socrates ideal society is based predominantly upon his faith in the state of Athens. Because Athenian culture employed a collectivist political structure, Socrates was more moved to romanticize the stateââ¬â¢s welfare. His upbringing in the Greco-Roman world founded his Western philosophical beliefs about the power of the

Working capital: In 2007 and 20 08 working capital of Bextex ltd. was negative. That means; current assets have been lower than the current liabilities. So, the company was in a risky position in terms of liquidity. But from 2009, it started to be positive and the company is in a stable position. 2. Current ratio: This ratio expresses current assets in relation to current liabilities. Current Ratio of bextex ltd. is highest in 2009 which indicates that the company has higher level of liquidity and it can meet short term obligations. But during 2007 and 2008 the ratio had a smaller value than one, indicating that Bextex ltd. had lower liquidity to meet its short term obligations. However, over the following years; Beximco Textiles managed to solve this issue. 3. Quick ratio: The quick ratio is more conservative than current ratio, because it only includes the more liquid current assets in relation to current liabilities. Beximco Textiles Ltd. reached its peak in 2009 in terms of quick ratio but yet again it dropped in 2010. Apart from that, there has been a steady improvement in this aspect. 4. Activity Ratios: a. Working capital Turnover: working capital turnover indicates how efficiently the company generates revenue with its working capital. Bextex ltd. was in the worst situation in 2007, that the ratio was -24. 11; this ratio was negative in 2008 as well. The main reason behind it was that the current asset remained lower than the current liabilities. The negativity in this aspect simply depicts that the company took a very high amount of loans during those years. Yet, the operations were efficient enough to improve that risky position over the years. b. Inventory Turnover Ratio: Inventory turnover ratio shows the timesà a companyââ¬â¢sà inventory is sold and replaced over a financial period. A low turnover implies poor sales and, therefore, excess inventory. A high ratio implies either strong sales or ineffective buying. During 2006 and 2007; the annual inventory on hand was way higher than the following years. Consequently, the turnover was high as well. During the following years; the management took new measures and managed to reduce the excess the inventory. However, the total amount of inventory in 2010 was higher than that of 2009. Yet, the inventory turnover almost doubled during 2010; which is a strong indication that the sales is increasing in number. c. Days Sales Outstanding Ratio: It indicates the elapsed time between a sale and cash collection. Bextex ltd. ad the lowest DSO in 2010, which indicates a better situation than that of the previous years. In 2007, the ratio was the highest indicating the efficiency lapse in cash collection during that period. 5. Cash Conversion cycle: This metric indicates the amount of time that elapses from the point when a company invests in working capital until the point at which the company collects cash. Bextex ltd. had 523. 12 CCC in 2006 which indicat es poor position and in 2010; they have decreased it from 523. 12 to 143. 36. So, it is a good indication for the company. Basic reason behind this positive trend is that; Beximco Textiles has improved the Inventory conversion and receivables Collection operations dramatically. Both the Inventory conversion period and the Receivable conversion period has been halved from the year 2006 to 2010. 6. Cash-Flow: Cash flow activities show that both the income from operational activities and the return from investments have been increasing over the years. The Payables are being paid out and the retained earnings are being reinvested heavily to increase the efficiency to a higher level. This can be a reason why Beximco Textiles have refrained from giving out dividends since 2007. References 1. BEXIMCO TEXTILES Ltd. (2007). Auditorsââ¬â¢ Report 2. BEXIMCO TEXTILES Ltd. (2009). The Step-by-Step Guide to Finding, Vetting, and Hiring Freelance Writers
Content creation is the biggest challenge in content marketing. Thatââ¬â¢s why over 60% of companies outsource their content creation. But outsourcing your content writing to freelancers doesnââ¬â¢t mean youââ¬â¢re off the hook entirely. You still need to find, vet, and hire the right writers. While creating a team of writers may seem like a daunting task, weââ¬â¢re here to take the sting out it by breaking down the key questions and considerations at each step from start to finish. Letââ¬â¢s jump in. Free Actionable Bonus: Looking to outsource your content writing? Get the complete guide to finding, vetting, and hiring freelance writers Step 1: Understand Your Priorities The first step in hiring a freelance writer is knowing what youââ¬â¢re looking for. Youââ¬â¢ll get better results in the long run if you know your goals before hiring. At step 1, answer the following questions: What type of content do you need? Ongoing blog posts, an in-depth white paper, website copy, or something else? How much input will you need to give? For more complex topics, youââ¬â¢ll need to communicate more with the writer to ensure they understand your goals. Do you need to use more than one writer? Using several writers means you can tap into a variety of writing styles and maximize your content output. At this stage, youââ¬â¢ll also want to decide between hiring in-house writers or freelance writers. Step 2: Set Your Budget Once you have an idea of the type, complexity, and quantity of content needed, you can start to budget out how much to spend on each piece of content. Creating a content calendar can be helpful at this step because you can easily see the cadence of your content and make adjustments as needed. Here are some ballpark figures to get you started: Social media posts: $5 to $25. Blog posts or website pages: $25 to $250. Video scripts: $100 to $500. Ebooks or white papers: $250 to $1,000. Of course, prices will vary depending on a few things: Writer experience. Content length and complexity. The level of keyword optimization. How soon you set the deadline. Whether itââ¬â¢s a one-off project or a long-term deal with the writer. You pay for quality. While $1,000 for a single white paper may sound like a significant investment, a well-written white paper can help generate your business a considerable amount of revenue. Step 3: Finding Freelance Writers The next step to building a content team is finding freelance writers. Some of the most effective places for finding writers include: Job boards (Indeed or Craigslist) Social media (LinkedIn) Content writing service (Constant Content) Job Boards Job boards are nice because you can describe what youââ¬â¢re looking for and let writers come to you. But that said, there are some drawbacks to this tactic. For one, top-quality writers donââ¬â¢t typically use these sites. While that may not be an issue for more straightforward content, if youââ¬â¢re looking for an expert writer then youââ¬â¢re not likely to find them on Craigslist. Pros: You may find a local writer that you can meet in person. Posting jobs is relatively cheap or free. Cons: You have to evaluate the authenticity and quality of writers yourself. Freelancers often attach additional costs to the final project. High-quality writers are hard to find. You have to do your plagiarism checks. Social Media Another easy way to find writers is by searching LinkedIn or Facebook for the job title ââ¬Å"Freelance Writerâ⬠. Looking for writers on social media is helpful because you can easily click through to their profile which typically also includes a link to a portfolio of some kind as well. The downside with social media is that it is very time consuming and there isnââ¬â¢t any quality screening. Anyone can make their LinkedIn title ââ¬Å"Freelance Writer,â⬠so youââ¬â¢re going to have to sort through some junk to find the gems. Pros: You can search for individual writers who specialize in your industry. If you find a quality writer, you can develop a close working relationship. Cons: You have to judge the quality of writers yourself. An individual may only write for specific industries. Prices and content quality vary significantly. You have to do your plagiarism checks. Get a weekly dose of our best content marketing tips, trends, and insights. Email address: Leave this field empty if you're human: Content Writing Service In most cases, your best option for finding freelance writers is with a content writing service. The advantage of these websites is that you have access to browse thousands of freelance writers in a single place. Rather than hunting around on social media or waiting for writers to respond to an Indeed posting, with sites like Constant Content you can filter down thousands of writers using categories and keywords. Ideally, you should also be able to hire and manage the writer directly within the platform, so youââ¬â¢re not trying to manage a team through spreadsheets and email chains. Pros: You have access to a wide selection of dedicated freelance writers. You can read writer bios and receive samples of work beforehand. The platform performs plagiarism and editorial checks. You can communicate with writers through the agency. You can receive multiple submissions from different writers and choose the best. Payments are securely handled by the service provider. Cons: You need to know what kind of writers youââ¬â¢re looking for. You have to submit clear briefs to writers. You may have to pay a little more for high-quality content. It may take longer to learn how the platform works. Step 4: Evaluating Multiple Writers to Pick the Best Ones Before committing to working long term with a writer, itââ¬â¢s a good idea to test out a writer with a paid job. You can evaluate their writing and communication skills, and it will give you a good insight into whether youââ¬â¢re going to work well together. While what exactly youââ¬â¢re looking for will depend somewhat on the type of content and your industry, there are some overarching writing skills you can use to evaluate multiple writers. 1. Industry Expertise There was a time when generic filler content was enough to get by, but those days are long gone. Your audience has higher standards now and so do search engine algorithms. Today, a good content marketing strategy means youââ¬â¢ll have to demonstrate thought leadership and expertise in your niche to get noticed. To do this, youââ¬â¢ll ideally want to find a writer with subject matter expertise in your industry. Itââ¬â¢s worth noting that not all industries require the same level of expertise. For example, companies in broad, well-known industries may want to hire a writer with a little less industry knowledge but more engaging writing. 2. Writing Experience Letââ¬â¢s face it: the more a person does something, the better they get. Writing is no exception, so itââ¬â¢s important to look for a writer with proven experience. Checking out a few writing samples is a great way to get a feel for a writerââ¬â¢s skill level and attention to detail. Look at their grammar and word choice and consider the overall flow and readability. You also want to check to see if the writer has experience with specific types of content youââ¬â¢d like them to write; sometimes a writer who can craft amazing blog posts may not have the same knack for writing landing pages. 3. Research Skills As there is a lot of misinformation out there, you need a writer that can distinguish between strong sources and less-than-reputable ones. Your content has a big impact on your businessââ¬â¢s credibility and reputation, so you want to make sure that itââ¬â¢s always well-researched and accurate. Excellent research skills are critical in a content writer ââ¬â in addition to cutting through the clutter to find reliable resources, they also need to choose the facts and figures that are most relevant to the topic. 4. Style and Adaptability From writing style to shifting priorities, good writers need to be adaptable and easy to work with. For writing style, they need to be able to flex to fit your brandââ¬â¢s identity and fit the tone with a pieceââ¬â¢s intended purpose. They also need to be willing and able to adapt to your teamââ¬â¢s content generation process so you can trust that the content you receive is on time and of high quality. Step 5: Managing Freelance Writers Managing a team of writers doesnââ¬â¢t have to be all that complicated. Simply by communicating effectively and providing constructive feedback, you can avoid the majority of headache and hiccups that most content teams experience. Communicate Clearly The best way to build a robust writer-client relationship is through clear communication and respecting the writerââ¬â¢s needs. Key things to communicate include: An outline of your business. The goal of the project. Your target audience. The style and tone of writing required. The structure and any formatting preferences. Source material that needs to read beforehand or referenced in the content. Content deadlines. How you want to communicate with the writer. Provide Feedback It often requires some back and forth to achieve the best results, so donââ¬â¢t be afraid to ask for changes if a writer hasnââ¬â¢t followed your brief. And give the writer positive and constructive feedback; it will improve your working relationship and the quality of future content.
